Hung out at Starlight last night. Met up with some werk friends, and we did a little dancing and drinking. Wasn't as good a set as in the past (the "set" being a disco/funk set by DJ Charless), but there was some clever funky twists, as DJC matched up some songs in ways we weren't expecting. My impression is that he's a guy who spends far too much time with his records, and either A) needs to get out more, or B) needs to get out less.
All in all, I was expecting to be more inebriated, but that didn't work out. Perhaps I'm getting too old ... or perhaps my stomach wasn't ready for the shots of Jagermeister. I don't think I wanted to drink any more after that point.
