A CLINICAL trial of a testosterone spray developed by Monash University has shown the product is successful in boosting the sex lives of women with low libido.

The spray was used on 261 female participants, aged 35 to 45, some of whom reported a fourfold increase in the incidence of good sex.

Lead researcher Susan Davis, professor of women's health at Melbourne's Monash University, said the testosterone spray "increased significantly the number of episodes reported as satisfactory", though it wouldn't increase the number of times women had sex.
