Now this is alright. Got some Miles Davis/Thelonius Monk playing in the house, and I'm sitting on the back patio, reading a book and drinking a Red Cap while some corn-on-the-cob is smoking away on the barbecue. Got some veggie burgers waiting, and some new BBQ sauce recipe at the ready.
R's trying out her hammock again (Hammmer pants). Looks like she put it too high up on the tree and is now lowering the ropes a bit.
Athena's sitting on the porch/patio with me; she's keeping an eye on the garden, which is growing out of control. I really haven't paid any attention to it at all this summer, and will probably let it grow wild until it snows.
Things are nice right now.
