I asked the bartender at Abstract to make me a Cuba Libra, and she said "Sorry, but I don't have any bitters." Taken aback, I asked her what her recipe was. Here it is (I've fudged the measurements a little, because she never gave me any). I'm not sure you'll find it anywhere else, under any other name, but if you find it, drop me a note.
So called "Cuba Libra"
- 1/2oz. Rum
- 1/2oz. Gin
- Coke to fill
- 1/4oz. Bitters
- 2oz. Lime Juice
- Garnish with Lime
