New Netbook

Bought this schway new Toshiba NB305 netbook. But only on the condition that I write 200 pages of a new novel in the next 12 months. Seems doable.

Oh yeah, and Fuck You, Windows 7 Starter Edition for disabling the most basic functionality, such as changing the fucking desktop background! Bunch of lousy fuckers!

Note: Changed the desktop background without Microsoft's help. Googled a solution, but it required installing a 3rd party app.

I thought the point of netbooks was to run Linux or OpenBSD?

I'm giving it two weeks to shape up, otherwise I'm wiping it clean.

(It's still under store warranty)
