He is the founder of the latest religious sect in Texas to make national headlines. ABC News reports Hawkins appeared recently on "20/20" to shed some light on how the world will end. His followers are standing by with hundreds of truck trailers loaded with food and water on the group's 44-acre compound in Abilene, Texas.
